Swift 101 - iOS Developer Lab

This Swift basics lab meets twice a week for intensive, hands-on programming designed to introduce students to Apple's Swift programming language. The course covers fundamental programming concepts, focusing on practical application development for iOS devices.

Key Components:

• 75-minute classes Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Emphasis on learning by doing
• Introduction to Swift programming fundamentals
• Practical app development skills
• Use of development tools like Xcode

Students can expect to learn native and collection data types, operators, loops, functions, and basic object-oriented programming concepts. By the end of the course, participants would gain experience with Swift kits, debugging techniques, and potentially create their own basic iOS applications. In addition, students will be eligible to sit for Swift Basics credentialing for free after completion of the course!
