UIC-OSF HealthCare award grants to address urban health challenges

Spring round of funding supports 9 research projects and 27 UIC researchers and clinicians

UIC partnered with OSF HealthCare to award nine grants totaling more than $650,000 to support projects that enhance health and wellness and remove barriers to care, particularly in local under-resourced communities. These are the second round of grants awarded under the Community Health Advocacy (CHA) program. To date, the CHA program has awarded more than $1.34 million to support health innovation.
